Upgrades
I'm a Gold member but notice that hotels don't always upgrade me. As a Black card member with Marriott I also get upgraded to the Concierge Floor every time but it seems that Westin doesn't have that policy. I hate to sound like a whinner but what's the best way to make sure you get what you are supposed to get?

I'm a Burgundy member and was upgraded automatically when I checked in as a Burgundy member. Maybe it varies from property to property. Ask for an upgrade if they do not give it to you.

Maybe it varies from property to property. what do you mean by that the last post was over 6 years old. Westin is now part of Starwood and spg. For info. on Westin properties go to the SPG forum |
