Prescription Ski Goggle tips?

Subtitle: Why I fell so much last year!

I guess I'm due for my 1st pair of prescription ski goggles/glasses. I would appreciate any tips from people that have used these.

Are the goggle/insert type ok? Are there pairs that fit better under goggles?

What works, and what did not.

(Contacts are out for me)

Thanks,

Bob

Thumbs up

ChgoBob I have a pair and love them. Best $ 300 I have spent. Got a little fan on top to stop them fogging up too. Go for it, get some NOW !
No more contact for me, which I had hell to get in.

Thanks, Snowbunny. I feel better now. I ordered a pair of custom Uvex, but stayed around $185 since I was not sure about them. ( I got no replies on several ski forums, so I got "chicken-cheap")

I also got a pair of Scott OTG to be safe, that fits over the Rx glasses pretty well. Nice fit, but we'll see how they fog up!
