you really don't have much to do at DEN to kill the 4 hours. The two RCCs don't have too much differece neither.

I usually would go to concourse A for Panda Express if I have long layover. ( United's concourse B doesn't have any Chinese/Asian food, which I found really weird.)

The last time I had that long in DEN i went to BOTH RCC's to compare for myself. You could do that to kill some time

And all that you will prove is that they are both pretty bad!

Actually, the food options have improved lately. They are now putting out more than just one thing at a time!

Try to get on an earlier flight?

As mentioned before, the RCCs are the same (it's not as horrific as some people portray them to be, but they're not five-star either).

And eat/drink at the on-airport (land side unfortunately) Gordon Biersch.

Though the 1000 EQMs for what one pays for round trip to COS is a poor use of cash.

Seriously though, Que Bueno in DEN is very good.

It's a thought :-)

However, I'm not normally the MR type - flights for work keep me in the air often enough. I joined MP at the start of this year, and should hit 1K by year end, without any MRs.

I have now tried both RCCs, and as reported, they are near identical - so much so I couldn't tell you which one I'm sat in now.

I tried the Pour France restaurant in the B concourse hub - surprisingly good for future reference.

Alas, my next flight is 948 to LHR, so not much choice for earlier flights. And I have a confirmed u/g on 948.

There is free wifi all over the Denver airport...If you haven't seen the tent [main terminal] & don't mind going through security again, try the main terminal.
If you do... there is a gargoyle down in the United baggage claim area, it is above or near one of the exit doors..... across from carousel 12? [west side]

I call it Denver's "West Side Story". A friendly chap if you have an imagination...

Wonder if Capt Flannigan has seen it?

Speaking of which, you can visit the Taco Bell in the check-in terminal. Yum.

...go to the west end of B, sit in your Lotus position, focus on the beauty of the Rockies, and have a Zen moment for a few hours....well, take along earplugs or good earphones to block out the terminal noise...
