PDX riverview hotels?
 
My 15th anniversary is coming up next month. Can anyone help me out with a suggestion for an upscale downtown PDX hotel with a nice view of the river?

The Riverplace Hotel is right on the Willamette and is probably one of the nicer hotels in town and just completed a $3 million renovation. They have full and partial river view rooms. The Avalon is a couple miles from downtown, but right on the river. The only other hotel directly overlooking the water is the Marriott on Front Street. Enjoy your trip.

Thanks! I took the Marriot because it had the only water view rooms available and it is right downtown. We're spending time earlier in the week at the Columbia Gorge Hotel...
