Internet Access at Sky Harbor

Do they have Internet access at Sky Harbor?
Is there a list of Internet cafes in the Phoenix area?

Thanks for any input!

As far as I know there is no "general" internet access available at PHX. A number of the airport clubs do have access, but it's usually limited to the confines of the club and always requires a password of some sort.

In Terminal 4 (HP, WN, BA) the only access that I know of is in the AWA clubs. I know that Terminal 2 (UA, CO, US, AS) has nothing. I haven't been inside Terminal 3 in a long time, but I'm tempted to say that there's not much in there either.

In the city proper I'm not aware of any internet cafes, but access is available for free at most of the Phoenix public libraries (both via supplied terminal or wireless) and a number of coffee houses provide access (either paid or free). 95% of the Starbucks locations in town have T-Mobile WiFi service and all of the Borders bookstores have it as well.

FedEx Kinkos as well for T-Mobile HotSpot access.

Two advantages over *BUCKS - many Kinkos locations are open 24/7, and also your clothes won't end up smelling like French Roast ;)

If you want an update, this is from the Sky Harbor website:

Wireless Internet Now Available! Free!
Wireless internet service is now available free of charge to Sky Harbor visitors. It is available on both sides of security, in retail areas and near the gates at the airport. If a passenger’s laptop computer or wireless electronic device is configured to operate in a wireless mode, it will automatically connect to the internet when powered up near the shops and gates at Sky Harbor.

This is up and running. The caveat being they appear to be blocking ports that break some VPN implementations. Should work fine if all you want to do is browse the web.
