Train from C to A?

I'm enjoying the new A concourse, and it's great to be able to stay inside security the whole way, but boy is it a hike from the C2 gates to A9. Anyone know when the trains are going to finally connect all the terminals?

Shuttle bus from C to the South Satellite, and then the train over to A?? Might take longer time wise, but less walking.

I've thought about that, but I'm enjoying the hike through the long tunnel too much!

During my stopover, the Admiral's Club folks told me it's worth taking the train from C to A. Before my flight, searching old threads didn't give a definite ^ or :td:

Has anyone done this? Where are the stops? My usual RT's are on AS, so terminal A is new for me. They said the signage is very confusing.

You'd need to take the tram from the far end of the C concourse to Main Terminal North station, and then transfer to the train that goes to Main Terminal South station and walk to the A gates.

The train between North and South Terminal stations runs every two minutes and is directly across from the stations to the North and South Satellites, respectively.

Thanks! I'll try that next time, and my AS flights always end up in the far side of C anyway.

Sea-Tac posted this updated map of the transit shuttles. Are the stations for the main terminal "Shuttle Train" on the airside? Do I have to reclear security going from North to South? TIA.

No need to reclear security

The entire train system is on the airside - no need to reclear security; all concourses are also connected on the airside as well.

The good news I finally located the transit stop in D! It was kinda confusing because the TSA checkpoint makes it appear you're entering the wrong direction.

But, the bad news... They don't run this train later in the evening (least after 8PM?). Now that I have my roller business case, taking a brisk 15 min. walk is part of my SEA-TAC routine
