PHX Security?
How bad will PHX security be on the day after the 4th of July? I plan on flying in the evening (~9pm) and I am trying to estimate the proper amount of time to surrender to the TSA.
Previously, the only other times I have had to check in through PHX is in the very very very early morning (4:30-5:30am). Thanks! |
Assuming you are travelling HP in Terminal 4, given your HP elite status I would think 15-20 min max. Else, lines have been VERY long lately as the summer travel season has begun. I have seen 30-40 minutes lines, especially on Monday mornings. Good luck.

Thanks! By way of update, the main security line seemed to be ~45 minutes as they only had enough screeners to run one station at a time in addition to the shoe patrol. No comment. Anyway, HP elite & first class cut me to the front (but didn't keep me from getting dirty looks from other pax) and I made it through in ~10. :) |
