Access to other concourses
Since the TSA keeps changing the rules, I thought I might post here.
What is the current policy at SEA about access to concourses that are NOT the one we are flying out of? I want to be able to visit the PC in concourse B as the Board Room is closed that day, but I am flying Alaska out of councourse C/D. My wife will be with me and my PC membership is just in my name. |
I've never had trouble going through the C concourse when ticketed on the N satellite. But I wonder if that's because they're connected via the D concourse or the tram system. I'm not certain they'd let me onto the S satellite or the B concourse.

There are three security chokepoints at Sea-Tac:
One for the S Satellite only (downstairs) One for the B gates only One at the top of the C concourse (D gates accessible via airside corridor) One for D and N gates (C gates accessible via same airside corridor) You cannot get to the B concourse from the C/D/N area, they are isolated from one another. |
Just an FYI, don't forget that the central terminal tram is not yet operational. I think that they're using it as a repository for trains during the evening testing of the S-satellite trains.
Once the central terminal tram comes online, you can move between the N-satellite and the S-satellite without having to exit security. |
