Construction above UA Baggage claim?

Construction above UA Baggage claim?

Anybody know what's being put together above the UA baggage claim on the street side. It's on the same level as the Skybridges, and spans the entire distance of the UA counters. Normall you could walk through that area kinda as a shortcut. I believe Alaska used the space opposite thier ticket counters for E-Checkin machines (one level down is the space we are talking about, one level up from Baggage). I can't imagine United would need more of those little E-Checkin thing with the 8-12 of them already, most rarely ever used from what I've seen. I'd prefer they stick some in the North Terminal.

And while I'm at it, I got word from Charlie (1K E-Mail line) that there are no budgeted plans for any EasyInfo screens in Seattle this year, or next. :-(

didn't notice the construction today, but will look tomorrow when I go. Sometimes I just cruise thru like today.
