If you do a search, there's an airside shuttle bus link between the AS concourses (I think it's out of C as AS/QX uses all of D and most of C - they're linkied airside) and NW in the South Satellite.

Even with today's current security, an hour ought to be plenty to get from the NW to Alaska areas. You do, as of now, have to go through security, unless, you use this little shuttle thing, but it only runs when the tram doesn't run, and even then, not sure if it will do what you want. But...something to keep in mind, by November, the construction should be done on the trams, restoring them to thier previous state. And I think at that point you should be able to do what you want w/o going back through security. See, right now, Sea-Tac has a lot of construction so, things are kinda odd in some places. Hope this helps some.

I would recommend taking the NW/Alaska/Horizon shuttle bus which departs at Gate S16 at the South Satellite and will take you to Gate C2 without having to re-clear security (from Gate C2 you have access to all Alaska flights leaving from either C or D gates). With a one hour connection you should have sufficient time.

What work? The Sea-tac site only states overhaul on the shuttle between the N and S satellites won't be completed until 2003 or 2004. The main concourse-S Satellite one doesn't stop in the B concourse currently.

Yeah, I guess your right, kinda sad, considering the area is all pretty now down near the N terminal side of the main terminal, that it will take that long. What I really want more than anything is to have a monorail or light rail (that actually gets to the aiport) straight to downtown, right along 3rd to Westlake or something. Sort of a airport express monorail, and maybe a big park and ride stop down in SOHO somewhere, but no other stops, just straight in, like LHR or some of the newer airports out there. That would be a dream come true.
