Hi all,

So today, I went to PHX airport to see a new T3S concourse. I have to meet Delta station manager and he grant me a permission to go into a new concourse tour. I have stay with him. The new T3S concourse is so beautiful! The north concourse is closed. No more Wendys and no more Mexican foods. They will begin renovation the T3N concourse and it will completed in 2020.

Here's my post:

My pics is in there, too. You can see it.

Just went through it on Sunday, it is very nice, modern, and spacious (something Sky Harbor sorely lacks). The gate areas are actually designed for larger planes (not DC9-10's). When I was in the South Concourse, there were about 5 flights leaving within a 30 minute span, but the concourse felt empty. I worry about the many businesses -- not many passengers were buying anything. Workers were literally sitting/standing around. Hopefully, business will pick up once T2 is closed and United, Alaska, Spirit, and the commuter carriers move over to T3.

What a contrast to the plywood concourse that HP built for their B742s. That place was crowded!

Yes, they will be moving all airlines from entire T2 to T3N concourse. The T3N concourse will open it up in 1st quarter 2020. The entire T3 modernization will be completed.
