SLC Flight cutbacks from DC/Baltimore area

Just wondering why Southwest and Delta have cut non-stop flights from BWI this year. For years there have been many options and full flights. This year the flights are really long with many connections. Anyone know what happened? Love to go skiing--in Park City--makes getting there very difficult

Southwest have built up Denver and dallas over the years and droppedroutes from Salt Lake City.

used to be direct flights from Seattle and Portland but they dropped

with delta its its using the hub system.
