Boulder Dinner recommendation - brew pub/tasting?

We're headed to Boulder this weekend for 2 nights ahead of a conference. We're staying at the St. Julien (thanks to reviews/recs here) and looking forward to much beer tasting (my husband is a home brewer and we love to travel for beer & food experiences...) I've looked and there aren't any beer tours available when we'll be there (one that looks good is 3pm on Sat, I think. and that would be cutting it close for us to make it after our flight etc) I wasn't able to find any beer tasting menus (for pairing beer/food) either. So - any recommendations for places that have good food to go with good beer? I know we'll wander around on foot and stop in any place that looks appealing, but I like to go in my first night with some options/ideas on where to eat...Thanks!

I have some friends who have done and enjoyed the Beer Trolley in Longmont, about 15 miles away: http://brewhoptrolley.com/

In case you didn't want to drive: St. Julien is near the bus station in Boulder, and there probably is service to places in Longmont near the trolley route, but I am not familiar with the bus routes.

Looks like great weather here this weekend. Enjoy.

Not a restaurant, but a deli/cheese shop/specialty food with a great little liquor shop that has local & craft beer/wine and a few speciality liquors. Very passionate &knowledgeable about what they do/sell. Make sure you go to the one on Pearl Street.
