LA to SEDONA Road Trip - Advice?
Hi Flyer Talkers (is that a thing)?
This board has never steered me wrong before so thought I would see if anyone has any advice on a road trip (a week over New Years) from LA to Sedona. Basically:
- MY girlfriend and I have a week and decided to spend it driving from LA to Sedona. Its winter now and not a whole lot of light to see nature but was wondering if anyone has thoughts on "must see" stuff along the way. And by "must see" - that would include anything from a cool observatory to a giant canyon in the ground to worlds bet bbq off the side of the road.
- This is very specific - but any thoughts on a cool NYE spot? Any Sedona experts know of good NYE places in Sedona?
SEDONA
- I have never been so any advice would be welcomed - the only caveat is it needs to be advice for this climate - AKA off season that not much online or guide books talk about since Sedona is a summer destination.
- Hotel - Sort of a end of the year splurging trip so open to more expensive places or experiences (if their worth it).
Thats about it. All suggestions welcomed - sort of playing it by ear.
Thanks!
Joe
