VA and Virgin Atlantic
Having migrated away from Australia and not looking to return any time too soon, I struggled to rid myself of the 300k points I have wth V Australia. I note that they are now starting t open up again with partners but is there any possibility of migrating those points to Virgin Atlantic where i would be able to get more use?
Thanks team! |
The ability to transfer points between airline programs is very rare. And if they do exist, there is usually a pretty big devaluation involved. I'm not aware of any way to do that between VA and VS.
You just need to spend your Velocity points directly... Luckily it is possible again to use them for international partners like VS. |

You could wait a bit more and transfer your VA Points to KrisFlyer ?
It has been announced that Virgin and Singapore are working on it again. SIA points allows you to book *A and VS - and VA Points allows you to book VS, DL, EY and other smaller airlines. |
