Status Upgrade Early
Hi All,
First time in this forum I spend most of my time on the BA one.
I have 985 status credits but status has been upgraded to Platinum... is this a mistake or deliberate? I was going to make platinum next week anyway but want to check this isn't a mistake that can then be taken off me?

Received an email congratulating me on being in (I think) the top 5% of Velocity members according to number of trips. My immediate reaction? "And still barely manage to re-qualify for Gold". Enclosed was a promotion for a 30% deduction on my "next" Business Class fare (I never book business class). The conditions - the booking period was literally a couple of days!
