Question Status Points Booking routes with more sectors
I noticed booking BNE to DUB that you have a choice of going direct to AUH or through Melbourne , Sydney or Perth for a slightly different cost
Are the SP the same what ever route you take
(I am not use to Virgin and using Airnz the SP are all the same)

More sectors generally means more status credits if you have the time and inclination to take them.

Domestic OZ, it is based on fare paid with status bonus.

Otherwise, it's based on eligible booking class and distance zones for SC's. ...
