Three quick questions

1 does economy reward tickets ever go on sale like cash fares?
2 is there a easy way to find these fares or is it look day by day ?
3 can these tickets be upgraded by bidding for an upgrade ?

Ps apologies if these are basic question Just learning the virgin velocity rules/method (after finally working out how the airnz system works!)

1 - Yes, there's a 15% off points sale on until the end of May.

2 Nothing about the SABRE VA website interface seems easy, but search using "Points +Pay" or "view in points" options.

3 I do not know :\

Redemptions aren't really fares that go up and down, they're set levels based on distance (refer to the points tables on velocity website).

For pt 3, no.

Yes, to be clear, the May 'sale' is 15% of the standard reward point levels.

e.g. Business between LAX and SYD/BNE is normally 94,000 velocity points, this month it is 79,900.
