Does virgin australia have a mobile boarding pass for android phones?
I searched on the android app site and could not find it but the virgin website said it would be ready later on in 2012

I have used my android phone for a BP -no app though, it was just a link from the check in email IIRC. It was amybe two years ago.

(only did it once - prefer to use paper BP's)

Does virgin have a android mobile app like airnz that can show your forward bookings , SP and air miles?

If they have an app then I am not aware of it.

There's an Android app that mimics Passbook that I kinda managed to make work once (and successfully used it to board) - it's been some time since I had an Android phone so I have no idea whether it still works or not:
