Virgin Australia class code

I would like to have more information about Virgin Australia's class code as I want to know which class codes belong to Saver, Flex, Premium Economy and Business and more detail about it.

Thanks

For SC earning:

Saver = Disc Economy
Flex = Economy
Premium Economy = Business
Business (only available Syd/Per/Syd) = Business

Sorry it's not what I mean.

For example
Y = Full Economy Class
C = Business Class (for Perth)
X = Discount Economy Class
and so on

The ones I've managed to find thus far:

F: "Happy Hour" Fare / Saver Fare (not offered via the GDS)
R, X, U, A, T, S: Saver Fare
M, B, N, Y: Flexi Fare
J: Premium Fare

There are probably others, but I haven't seen actual examples. Perhaps we can prevail on Virgin Australia to provide the full list? :p

If they do end up getting all the airlines under the one banner by the end of the year, I'd expect the above to change as well.

Would have been nice if Virgin Australia had included their own codes in the list!!

It is also a bit hard to find on the website, would be nice if it linked to out of the SC pages too.

How to find booking class on ticket?

I am trying to determine the booking class code (F, R, X, etc.) of my already purchased domestic Virgin Australia DJ Flight, in order to know whether or not I will earn EQMs on Delta.

The only info I've been able to find via my e-ticket itinerary, is "Fare Class: Sale*".

Does anyone know how to do this? Delta will give me credit as long as the fare is booked in one of the following DJ codes:

Economy Fare Saver: S, T, A, F, U, R, X, G, E, C

Thanks!!

UPDATE: I phone VA, and they were able to tell me that my ticket is booked in F class (I which there was an easier way to figure this out!)

Business Class Upgrade Code anyone?

Does anyone know what is the business class upgrade code for DJ?
Thanks in advance

Over on AFF it seems to have been assessed as Q class (Both for WP comps and Velocity point upgrades from "Flexi").

Rewards booking codes for DJ?

This class does not appear to show on Expert-flyer.

So for long haul on Virgin Australia International, how do the fare codes match up with the economy categories: V Promo, V Deal, V Saver, and V Flexi? I assume that the Premium Deal category is for premium economy class, but how do I figure out whether or not I earn 100% DL SM or 50% on VA flights?

Delta's website says economy classes Y, B, H, K, L earn 100% miles flown but Economy classes E, N, V, Q, T, U, G only earn 50%.
And VA website says that Full Fare Economy is coded Y or B but Discount economy is coded: T, Q, V, N, E, G, K, H, U, L

But for the consumer, their flights are listed as the VPromo/Deal/Saver/Flexi; nowhere (that I can find) explains how Full Fare Economy and Discount Economy are related to V Promo, V Deal, V Saver and V Flexi!!! So how on earth do you figure out whether you earn 50% or 100% DL SM???

Confused!

Here are the economy fare names with the respective classes for VA-coded flights..:

V Flexi: Y, B
V Saver: L, K, H
V Deal: N, E
V Promo: G, T, Q, V, U

So, from my reading of the DL website...
  • V Flexi and V Saver fares earn 100% mileage
  • V Deal and V Promo fares earn 50% mileage

:)
