Bag sent down the belt without tag - now lost - help
 

Dear all,

a friend of mine flew on VS LHR-LAX yesterday in Y and had an odd thing happen to him.

the check in girl was a little too chatty and wanted to talk more than do her job and sent the first of his too bags down the belt without attaching the bag tag to it. the second bag, although properly tagged also didn't make it.

the supervisors response was not to worry as security would pull it and they would then present it to him at the gate, have him identify it and he would be on his way.

obviously this never happened and there is no trace of the bag.

any VS flyers have an idea whom to contact to find this bag. also if you have any insights on Virgins compensation for lost / delayed bags it would be greatly appreciated.

i'm guessing security will take a look at it and then give it to lost and found, but as said any tips from people with experience here are greatly appreciated.
