Silver Nomination
My friend wants to nominated me for Silver status, and he is a Gold member. It has been two months and my account has not been upgrade yet. I called FC today and they said my friend and I has to sign a consent form, and my friend can use my miles anytime. I have never heard of this before from other airline FFP, is this only for FC nominations?

I just called VS again, they said the Silver status upgrade function has not been working since last year, due to "system upgrade". I guess I will just to a direct status match near the end of year for Gold status instead.
