Question on award pricing
I'm looking at ATL-LHR on DL metal in upper class and it's quoting 47.5k miles + USD 647.50.
Shouldn't it be 50k + USD 5.60? I've booked several TATL flights with that pricing. It's showing a DL flight number, so I can't figure this one out. That pricing makes sense only if it's on Virgin metal. What am I missing please? |

No wonder there's so much availability on DL.
Guess 86k DL miles to travel on Virgin is the way to approach this route. I think you can do 50k SQ miles, but that's currently unavailable for booking? Thanks |
Amsterdam & Paris are cheaper alternatives, both are easy to get to London although the cost will eat in to your saving in taxes & then there’s the extra time travelling.
