Delta One availability on VS

Does Virgin Atlantic/Delta often release more available partner awards? I am looking for a flight in April and there is only seat available - there are "saver" awards available on Delta. What are the chances that another seat will open on Virgin Atlantic's site in Delta One?

I have also been looking for Delta One to Asia in December and with no success. Is the availability changing for VS to have access to these seats?

This is what happens when bloggers blow the internet up about great deals. You get all sorts of people with no clue simply vaccuming up availability.

I can't give a ballpark, but DL is known to release inventory at all sorts of random times.

Last year I found that Virgin had amazing DeltaOne availability, but this year I can't find anything - even for dates that Delta has on sale (e.g. SEA-TYO in June). I wonder if Delta has tightened up their policies.

Agreed that bloggers have made it harder to get value out of programs. Sigh.
