Fare class of (cash) upgraded Upper Class ticket

Thinking of paying cash to upgrade a (revenue) Premium seat to Upper Class. Does anyone know what the fare class of the Upper Class seat would be? Is it considered full-fare, or discounted business class?

It would likely be in the Z bucket so discounted business class.

I guess if you're doing an "up-fare", that is paying the fare difference to upgrade cabins, it would book in whatever fare class was available, Z obviously usually the cheapest, then I, then D, then J, but up-faring into anything other than Z would probably be very expensive (in the $000s).

If it's some type of discounted upgrade offer, then I don't really know.
