Arrival Lounge Use At SFO?

I will be arriving at SFO from LHR then onto LAX following a six hour layover. Looking at reviews the VS Clubhouse seems to be the best at SFO. I will be travelling on VS Upper Class from LHR then Delta First to LAX and was wondering if I am permitted to use the Clubhouse? If so, is it worth the hassle, I can access the Amex Lounge and Delta SkyClub as I have an international leg / AMEX Plat card.

No you aren't allowed to use the CH in these circumstances.

VS CHs are for those on a departing flight to the UK only.

The AMEX lounge is in T3 @ SFO. Delta operates out of T1. T3 and T1 are not connected airside.

Upon arrival following immigration and custom, you would be landside at INTL terminal concourse A, you would have to reclear security to get to the AMEX lounge at T3, and reclear security again to board your flight out of T1. Not worth the hassle if you ask me; plus, the AMEX lounge is super crowded seemingly at all times.

IMO, your best best would be to head over to T1 after arrival and clearing immigration/custom.

I’ll add that the DL SkyClub at SFO is rather nice (relative to others DL SkyClubs).
