Just for info as it wasn’t obvious on arrival earlier today and it may be useful to anyone following.

I was conditionally approved for Global Entry so was seeking to complete the process on arrival at T4 JFK earlier today.

The signposting for where you have to go to do so on arrival at immigration wasn’t at all obvious and not all the staff I asked were familiar with what I was looking for either.

But at immigration you currently need to head for lane ‘A’, which is a Global Entry lane, and a short way down the lane on the left is an office where you can complete the enrollment process. There was a 45 minute wait in the office today as not all the staff are trained up on the process, but once an immigration officer arrived who could do it it was quick and straightforward.

There’s also an office landside in T4 that you could do the interview before a departure from JFK, but you need to prebook an appointment for it. Worth considering prebooking for your departure from JFK if you’re doing a return trip from the UK in case there’s an issue with doing it on arrival, as the appointment will automatically be cancelled if you do complete on arriving.

I wasn’t asking anything. I was just trying to be helpful for any future Virgin Atlantic passengers arriving at JFK T4 and seeking to complete GE enrollment on arrival as I was yesterday by clarifying where they’d need to go at immigration to do so, as it is not apparent from the signage in the terminal.
