More upper class seats were added as Virgin was giving the blue chip airlines a run for their money.

There was originally a lounge area in the 747 nose section as well as a bar.

Used on the Japan route,even economy class had an onboard bar down the back for a short period. I flew this configured 747 in the rear upper class from JFK to LON
