Flights to TLV
Numerous articles in Israeli press about Virgin Atlantic planning to start a route to TLV next year, along with special flights for Eurovision 2019. Supposedly the fact that the new CEO Shai Weiss is Israeli has helped push this forward.

I can see a charter flight for Eurovision but not a regularly scheduled service. Tel Aviv isn't really a good fit with the rest of the route network which has and is moving westward rather than eastwards.
VS has (or is) withdrawn from Tokyo, Sydney, Cape Town, Mumbai and Dubai.
I remember similar articles about VS starting Rio and Moscow because of the Olympics and World Cups but nothing happened with those.
