I guess that we're not getting Delta's enclosed mini-suites then!

Looks like the A350 is popular for the roll out of new seats.

Now the race beteeen VS and BA to see who gets theirs in the air first! BA onky expecting 4 A350s next year to have their new seat and 2 777s accordi g to their market presentation today.

VS will almost certainly get their seat to market before BA.

I did really enjoy my experience in VS (lounge, food, service). The seat was the only detractor, so I'm happy to see they're moving on.

Me too - Really tired of the old UC seat, and fly BA (upper deck window), to avoid it when possible. Now I'll have a choice again!

Disappointing that the existing fleet won't be retrofitted.

I found many of the comments under the article amusing. When you fly business class so little that you can't tell the photo is the current upper class, your opinions are probably not of great consequence to Virgin...

Upper Class changes 2019

I have read recently that VS may introduce a new seat for UC in 2019, however, I am sceptical about this it may just be referring to the few ex-Air Berlin planes that were updated last year, does anyone know if this is the case?

Ah thank you, seems to be less debate around this that the new BA Club World offering, although that may be down to how outdated Club World is at the moment!

Looking at a UC 'review' [video] by someone who fancies themself, he commented, "I can't understand why they put the seats angled in towards the aisle." Well, if you can't understand that - you know zero about airline cabins. Still, saved me watching any more of his drivel.
