A340-600 41D-G: good or bad?

I'm travelling on an A340-600 flight in Economy and can choose where to sit. I'm considering 41D at the moment, which is in front of the entrance to the crew rest area.

The reason is that I prefer to sit at the end of a section so that there is no one behind me (I've had a few flights where people - and not always children - decided to amuse themselves by kicking the seat in front of them).

I'm quite short so leg room is not critical and noise rarely bothers me.

Given my preference stated above, would you recommend 41D?

Welcome to Flyertalk.

Where are you flying to and from?
Is it a day or night flight?
I assume you are Economy Classic, so don't have the option of extra leg room?

Your logic sounds good to me, but be aware that VS can and do often change the aircraft type, so once you have selected - keep checking.

Thank you, Nick, for your welcome and prompt reply.

Yes, I'm booked on Economy Classic for LHR-SFO return. Day flight LHR > SFO, and overnight SFO > LHR. Checked the booking a few times and it has always been an A340: I was hoping for a B787 ride which was in use for this route a while back but I suppose the engine issue is forcing Virgin to juggle their planes, as it were. I will keep checking though!
