VS Tier Points

What would be the easiest/cheapest way to get 75 Virgin Flying Club Tier Points.
I have a couple of US trips booked that are included but have scope to do some US domestic trips in Feb (Florida) or August (Arizona)

Short Haul Delta flights in First Class. Is probably the easiest.

20TP's each way for for anything ticketed in A or G class.
40TP's each way for anything ticketed in F or P class.

FLL > ATL return can be had in A class on a random day in August next year for $508.
Similar price for an MIA return.

You get the idea.

Thanks, I thought PHX-LAX in First would be cheapest August time but even then its on DL Connection which cause me concern as to whether they will post the tier points. Alternative i suppose living in the UK would be a hop over on Economy Delight one way, Main Cabin coming back, that might even be cheaper in the off season with the deals that come up, which is mad really.

Delta connections are usually fine. I just did some and no problems with tier points or miles posting.

I believe the rule is, if it has a VS flight share number, then it will be OK. Ring Delta and make sure it earns VS TP's if you want. But most of the common routes should be fine I think.

All the DL operators (Skywest, Endeavour Air, etc) are fine for Tier Points earning, it doesn't have to be operated by mainline Delta. As Commander says as long as it has a VS flight number you're good. Although mind you, any DL operated flight earns VS TPs, doesn't necessarily have to be a codeshare jobby.

Have had no problems with my DL Connection flights crediting to VS. Whether it's a VS codeshare should not be relevant.
