Best PE Seat on 787-9

Hi Folks --

Apologies if this has been discussed, but I could find anything via search.

Is there any consensus on what the best pair of premium economy seats are on the 787 for a couple? Is it safe to assume any of the pairs by the windows would be good.

Is the recline on the seats enough that you are going to feel pinched in any of the non-bulkhead row?

Any help, or other thoughts on the 787 PE cabin, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I too would love to have some advice on the PE seats on the 787. Most interested to know about the legroom available in the bulkhead row.

No experience in the bulkhead but recline is very generous.
I didn't find the footrest that useful unless I was fully recline.

Be wary IFE can't angle that high up if you're recline backwards which is a bit of a minus in my book but it had good viewing angles so that sorta cancelled that out.

For a couple the window seats are a good bet if you like looking out the plane, but on VS207 - HKG-LHR the FA's locked the windows throughout the flight

Why is that? No photo taking when over China/Russia?

I assume it was to maintain cabin darkness as it was an overnight flight. To prevent people from unlocking them and flooding the cabin with light halfway through the light

Same idea as FA's telling you to lower your shades on an overnight flight except with the 787 they can control the shades themselves from a control panel
