BOS welcoming a B747-400
Starting today, VS has been starting B744 service for the summer. I don't know how it will last but a welcome sight!

It will just be for this summer as the LHR 747's are being phased out from September.

I was on it!
i flew back to LHR on VS012 today. It wasn't very busy - 29? passengers.

The 747 LHR seats 367... so 290 pax isnt that low

I'm on LHR-BOS on September 8, and right now, it's showing a 747-400.

Hmm, I'm flying LHR -> BOS on June 25th and Virgin tells me I'm on an A340-600.

Well, our flight today from LHR to BOS was great and it was not on a 747 OR an A340-600. In fact it was on a 787-9. Great flight, my first on a 787. The cabin (J) was great. I liked the windowshadeless windows and the pressurization/humidity level. Very nice!!
