Don't know that it will do you any good anymore, but I did not see a response. You will need to feed them each individual segment as they cannot see connections. We just booked YEG-MSP-LGA and EWR-MSP-YEG with at least some, if not all, segments on Delta Connect and it went fine, once we broke it down and gave him the flight numbers.

Judging from the posts that show how hard it is to get Delta tickets using Flying Club miles, this will probably be fruitless, but I have to ask. Once you have managed to book Delta flights, does anyone know how to get the Delta PNR and/or select seats on Delta? The Virgin rep we talked to didn't even know that Delta would produce a PNR, he thought there was only the Virgin one.

This morning on the phone with VS, this interesting bit happened.
DL 64 is a one-stop flight SFO-ATL-FCO.
Delta.com shows the lowest level seats are available for all of these:
SFO-ATL
ATL-FCO
SFO-FCO
But the VS agent said his system only shows DL 64 operates on ATL-FCO only.
He cannot even request availability on DL64 SFO-ATL.

I can see how this one would be a problem for them. With their system, they would definitely have to look for each part of the flight separately and then their system would probably look at two different flights with the same flight numbers and say that this was not possible. I wonder if you called back and asked for flight DL64 from SFO to ATL without mentioning the rest of the flight if it would find that segment, then be unable to find the other segment?

Success! I booked a business class seat SFO-NRT-SFO with ANA using VS miles. I found low-level award availability on both ANA new website and United website.
I called U.S. number twice and both time agents said no availability. Then I tried Hong Kong and India offices but both were closed. Carribean number has been disconnected (and yet it was still posted on VS website).
So I waited for two hours and called U.S. number again twice. On my fourth attempt, the agent was able to find availability.

Great result, but REALLY? Should it be that difficult?

I successfully purchased an ORD-SFO RT flight in F on Virgin America for 40,000 VS points, but their system is truly primitive. They were willing to check Delta flights for me, but they said they don't have access to flights from my home city MSN (really? why not?), and the DL flights ORD-SFO cost 45,000 VS points for F.
Besides that, I was told that it might take up to 72 hours for my confirmation email to show up. That's quite ridiculous.

I got JFK NRT, taxes/fees $217.
Anyone know about stopover rules, whether I can add on a segment with a stopover for more miles?

Air China redemption halt
Hi all
Has anyone else had problem booking redemption flight on Air China? I always use my Virgin miles for my parents flights to/from LHR, but today I was told that as from 14th July, VS staff were told to halt all redemption booking on Air China using VS miles! Does anyone know why this is? Is the partnership with CA coming to an end?
HELP!

Booked two 1st Virgin America returns between SFO and LAS. Called Thursday, got passed to another agent as I was trying to tack them onto an existing UC reward booking. The second agent held the flights and said to call back in 24 hours to see if Virgin America would release the seats. Called back Friday and all confirmed. Lots of hold music but agent took payment ($11 each) and said confirmation would be received in 72 hours. Received confirmation email 24hrs later. Cant make seat selection online but all seems fine other than that. Couldn't link the bookings but hopefully wont be an issue. Travel is April 2016.

Just managed to book Virgin Australia Mel-Syd in early Dec, was all really easy actually. Managed to do it on one call.
Unlike my attempt at trying to get Air New Zealand flights, mainly due to long wait once we request it. Never found any unfortunately on those at all.

I am looking at booking ANA First LHR-TYO-SEA r/t using my Virgin Atlantic miles. I cannot find the mileage chart - could somebody help me figure out how many miles this would be?
PS: Would it be possible to get a 1 or 2 day-long stopover in Tokyo whilst booking as one award?

The latest chart on the VS website infers that the only redemptions now available with VS points are internal economy tickets.

This appears to be yet another 'enhancement' of the ongoing VS partner airlines fiasco.
