VS website shows availability in both economy and first class on DL BOS-SLC route, but VS agents can only see economy availability. AF website also shows availability in business on that DL flight. Is there a trick to get VS agents to see the availability their website shows or is it phantom availability?

Although I would’ve liked to have kept the miles to use for a first class ANA award next year, I needed two business class tickets for Seattle to either Paris or Amsterdam. I was able to find two Delta awards on the exact date I needed in August to Paris. These are a great deal at 50,000 per ticket, especially considering what delta is charging for that same seat if you redeemed sky Miles!

Can Singapore Airlines show redemption with Virgin miles in First/Business?

Looking to book TYO -> NYC on DL next year. My guideline in the past has been that if it's available for the lowest points level on Delta's site, it's available on Virgin. Looking on Delta's site, I see several dates available at the lowest route price offered (120k/person). This is indeed the lowest price they offer on the route, not just in the 30 day view. However, I'm not seeing them on Virgin at all.

Anyone know why these wouldn't be showing up?

Most likely because DL don't fly direct between Tokyo and New York. Connections are always hit and miss with Flying Club, with the domestic leg often being a problem.
FWIW, less than 1% of FTers on the VS board would choose to fly DL to Japan instead of ANA...

I've booked a Delta connecting flight before with VS, so that's a bummer to hear. I've used VS to book the ANA F routing to Japan twice now, so happy to try another product (especially since I'm only going one way).

Has anyone ever been able to redeem Delta One on ATL-JNB or is that just a unicorn award?

Trying to book SIN to HAN flights on SQ - specifically SQ176 - using Virgin miles. Economy class. It is an A330 flight.
Krisflyer website shows availability at Saver level.
United website also shows availability (using United miles).
But I have now called Flying Club twice, and both times have been told that the response coming back from SQ when they check is "unconfirmed" and the only advice given is to call back again later closer to the flight date.
Any ideas or options I can try?

Transferred 47K AMEX MR points to VS (went over instantly). Then booked online DL PVG to ATL in Delta One Suites for 60K VS miles. Was around $20 in taxes and was able to select my seat right away. Could not have been more simple.

I often see NRT-LAX close in, like maybe 1-2 weeks before departure. I also see it semi-regularly at the end of the calendar. No experience with their other, possibly more popular routes.

If you don't see what you like, try another route in the same manner.
It requires some flexibility for sure, but it wasn't a unicorn search (for me at least).
PVG to ATL, PVG to DTW, et al.
