I ask whenever I can, and the party line is still "sometime this summer." Nothing further so far.

My impression is that VX is awaiting TSA approval on their application which may include feeds/system testing. I do not have information to support this guess.

Still, even with approval, a line does not exist today for T3 LAX where VX is based. I know SFO is ready (along with other airports that have shared security lines with other airlines who already have the program).

Woo hoo! Hopefully the EWR terminal has it.

According to the site EWR doesn't have it currently.

According to that page, PreCheck on VX is not yet live. It will become active in June, just as they had predicted.

I am TSA Precheck with American Airlines. Can this info be transferred to Virgin?

No. You have to be invited by the airline, or have Global Entry (or similar).

According to the TSA's webpage: "TSA Pre✓™ is currently available for eligible passengers traveling on Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, US Airways and Virgin America." Their page was updated today.

http://www.tsa.gov/tsa-precheck/tsa-...ited-screening

Hopefully, TDCs will know that Virgin boarding passes are Pre eligible.

VX Pre-check was successful this evening at DFW. So yes, one day early.

Up and running at SFO today.

I did not have my trusted traveller (GE) in my profile though, which I have subsequently updated.

A nice visit to the Loft at LAX too during a layover. Great windows, solid food and drink selection too.

Love the loft @ LAX -- probably one of the best clubs Ive been in. After getting my Global Entry a couple weeks ago - I was told that Virgin hasn't started Pre Check but that if you already had your number, it would work. So far it has.

I assume all you did was update your on line profile with your Trusted Traveler number?
