VX Fare Classes?

Trying to find a fare class for a trip I took recently on VX. Anyone know what the possible fare classes are with VX? Flew on the cheapest possible from SFO-LAS. Checked my reservations and searched FT to no avail.

VX have: Main Cabin (economy), Main Cabin Select (premium economy) and First Class (awesome!).

They don't do fair buckets (Y, Q, H, B, C, Z etc etc etc).

Not really true.

They go: S, M, U, E, H, B, V, O, Y, W, I, D, C, J

with the last 4 being business class.

Interesting... I was under the impression VX didn't use buckets.

Sorry, my bad. Thanks for the clarification.

Thanks. I'm guessing there's no way of knowing what fare class you're booked in? The fare rules when booking, the ETKT receipt, the ETKT receipt issued during OLCI, the OLCI boarding pass, and the regular card stock boarding pass all don't seem to have any notation of a fare class on there. Heck, even my AMEX statement is silent on the fare class booked!

What was the actual fare? If it was $49, $54, $69, or $78 it was likely S.

Out of curiosity, since (as you noticed) the fare codes aren't really shown anywhere, of what use to you is it?

It's really just for my record keeping and curiosity.

What's the deal with the HMCSUP, YMCSUP, WMCSUP???? These look like what legacy carriers do for their upgradeable fares.

Are these the first ppl to get an op-up???

What fare codes do Main Cabin Select have?

I am trying to work out my status credit earn for Virgin Australia.

Can't find the fare codes on my VX itinerary.

Thanks :).

Main Cabin Select books into W, Q, and Z buckets (according to Alaska's partner earnings page, https://www.alaskaair.com/content/mi...n-america.aspx)

How can one tell what fare bucket you are booked into? I just flew VX in F crediting to AS but was only credited the 50% premium cabin bonus for a D fare. How can I tell that it wasn't a J or C, which earns 75%? I can't seem to find the fare code anywhere.

We're you able to figure out how to identify what fare class was purchased?

Thanks,
Al
