Virgin America website instability

Hi guys, I know this may not be helpful for anyone else but I am at the end of my rope.
Every time I try to book a Virgin America flight through their website, it kicks me out with a timeout error at some point during the process. This has happened for the past few months, with me just trying over and over again until magically I get through and actually get to give them money for a plane ticket.
I've cleared cookies and private data, and tried with IE, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari for Windows, Safari on my iPhone, and with Safari and Firefox on my mac at home, and this happens with all of my devices.

I would happily make them over the phone but I refuse to pay $15 per person per itinerary for the opportunity to pay them for a plane ticket.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Select the option to email them about the website. Complaining to FT isn't going to fix their bug (and it appears to be a bug).

I've noticed this on occasion as well at work- are you by chance behind a proxy or corporate firewall?

I don't have any of the issues you describe - I'm using a Mac and iPhone. One thing though - the FIRST thing I do is log in to my account, then I go shopping for flights, choose seats and confirm my payment. It takes me very little time to complete a booking because mine and my partner's Elevate information is in my profile, as are two credit cards I used for method of payment - so no issues with timeouts, etc.
YMMV

I assume you are not messing around long enough for your session to time out, so it sounds like a bug :)

I'd call VX and tell them that you've been trying to book online, but are having trouble with the site. They should let you book over the phone without paying the $15 booking fee (make sure to say something).

Yes, I have the same problem, occasionally. It is a bug.
