eleVAte goes the Distance - Virgin Galactic

Virgin America is teaming with Virgin Galactic, the world's first commercial spaceline, for the unveiling of what technology that will mark the start of a new space age. This will be the first-ever public viewing of the WhiteKnight (WK2) "mothership" -- the world's largest all carbon composite aircraft with a high-altitude lift capacity capable of launching SpaceShipTwo into sub-orbital space flight.

On July 28th, one lucky Elevate member will be flown to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) where they'll be whisked away with other VIPs to this once-in-a-lifetime world premier in the Mojave Desert. Aboard the newest member of Virgin America's fleet, "My Other Ride Is a Spaceship", one Elevate member will take a historic trip linking one of the most innovative, fuel-efficient aircraft flying today with the very future of government and commercial aerospace.

Travel from anywhere in the US, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation will be provided. Your trip will commence on July 27th, with the roll-out on July 28th. You will be provided lodging on the evening of the 27th.

Only one elevate member will be selected to join us for the roll-out. Put your creativity to the test and enter our sweepstakes today.

Do you think they will install Red on the spaceship or will there be a thread concerning the "Dark" craft?

Sorry, don't understand your comment.

You have to be a resident of the US or DC, as that is where you would be flown from to participate in this promotion, which is by a US based air carrier. Are you suggesting someone from Down Under should be able to enter and be flown in for this contest?

Can an antipodean enter and fly themself to a US destination if they win? I'm a Canadian/British/New Zealander who lives in Australia but is usually in the US and Canada on long business trips... I've been in North America for 10/12 months this year (as a Canadian Resident).

I would pay airfare from anywhere in the world to see White Knight 2 unveiled. Will they also be showing Space Ship 2? or do you think they'll save that for another event?
