Lounge options at LAX now?

Is Alaska my only option?

To confirm (been almost a year now), Alaska and Virgin are in the same terminal at LAX right?

Correct, although if you have any other access options (such as UA or AA), TBIT-4-5-6-7-8 are all connected airside.

Yes, Alaska Lounge in terminal 6 at LAX (via Elevate Gold status) is your only option. Alaska and Virgin America now cohabitate in Terminal 6 as well - the move was done in May 2017.

Lots of other lounge options at LAX depending on membership and/or Priority Pass.

FWIW, I've enjoyed my two stops at the Alaska Lounge in T6. Bar service was friendly and they offered multiple craft beers. It's $15 to enter (I'm VX Silver) but was well worth it during a few hour flight delay.

Remember for VX elites - this LAX option is going away at the end of this month. AS lounge access will be similar to all other US carrier options - paid membership. Priority pass is restricted a lot at LAX - its always a zoo at that lounge....

Unlike other carriers, AS has historically permitted paid and award (but not upgraded) F passengers in the lounge - others only do so on premium transcon routes.

I can access AS BRs either through Priority Pass Select, or via my AA Admirals Club membership while flying AS or AA. During my last lap through LAX-SFO on VX, I was denied entrance to the BR as a PP customer due to capacity issues and as an AC member because I was on VX and not AA/AS. Wonder if they will ever allow VX flying AC members BR access, or if it will simply happen naturally when the VX brand flies off to heaven.

VX pax with Alaska Lounge memberships will have access to Admirals Clubs (minus SFO, changing for AS pax also) starting Jan 1. I would imagine reciprocal access for VX pax with AC membership into Alaska Lounge will also start Jan 1.

was very crowded last Wednesday AM, and signs posted were prohibiting Priority Pass holders from access. Thankfully, i had my Elevate Gold status.

Sadly, AS moving forward wont be an option for me

... in T2, which isn't connected to TBIT/T4/T5/T6/T7 behind security, and you're not getting the full experience.

I'd say using an LAX lounge that is requires going through TSA isn't all that helpful unless you're flying DL or some other carrier based out of T2.

True, and it has limited PP hours, I believe ending around lunchtime.
