Standby/Seat assigned MCS
 
Does VX assign MCS to people without seat assignments/standby passengers? If they do, do they get the same access to the free offerings associated with the seat?

Rare in my experience.

Only when there are no more seats in economy. They will then start assigning front to back. It seems they prioritize non-revs (any airline) once all elites are upgraded.
