VX call center down for last 28+ hours???!!!
 
Can't believe there isn't a thread here... Has anyone actually gotten through to VX on the phone in the last day plus?

I've called the Gold # multiple times and put in my number for a callback, and nothing. Tried holding for 15+ minutes, nothing either

...???

Keep in mind there are three travel waivers currently in effect. All three were issued on Friday, January 6.
  • FLL Shooting: For FLL flights on 1/6 and 1/7.
  • Northwest Weather: For PDX/SEA flights on 1/7.
  • Northeast/DC Weather: For BOS for 1/7 and 1/8. JFK/EWR/LGA/DCA/IAD flights may also be affected.

For a call center, every waiver creates extra calls. Three at once will likely be putting great stress on the system.

I first asked for a callback Friday evening. Did same twice yesterday. And again now this morning. Nothing. And this is from the Gold line!

Big brother - AS - is just as bad. Tried to call 1/7 - was told there would be a 4-8 min wait - 65 minutes later I gave up. AS is not a user friendly airline!

Every airline is probably just as bad the past few days. Between FLL on Friday, Northeast cancellations on Saturday, Pac NW and SFO cancellations and delays the past few days - quite the mess.

Both times that I called AS and used their "call me back when it's my place in line" feature, it worked. And the calls were within the quoted range (15-25 mins)

I called VX literally *5* times from Friday to Sunday and asked for callbacks. Never got a single callback.

Finally reached a VX agent Monday morning.
