Can I buy a la carte extras later, after ticketing?

1st time buying a VX ticket. Can I buy the extras (priority boarding, preferred seat) later, after the reservation is ticketed? I want to purchase separately to get it reimbursed separately by the credit card company.

I think you can because if you click to move your seat to a preferred seat after initial ticketing, it will tell you what the charge will be.
