Combining Existing Reservations
In September I'm flying down to MCO to surprise my friend who is flying back with me so we can attend the Emmy's in LA. I had to book the trip with 3 different reservations in order to hide the surprise from her. I called VX to try and combine the reservations down to one, since I've since been able to split her's off, but they are telling me they can't do that. Right now I have my flight from LAX-MCO, MCO-LAX-MCO and MCO-LAX on three different reservations. Anyone have any ideas about what they need to do or if I need to call someone in particular?

They cannot be combined. This would be the same limitation for any airline's system. They best they might do is put a cross-reference note in each, but it has no material effect.

Yeah, they said they would do that, just figured if they can split they should be able to merge. Oh well.
