Meal schedule (First)
 

What's the schedule of meal availability in first class? I.e. what hours will they be serving lunch, dinner, etc.? If I fly a redeye, is there still a full meal available?

They serve a limited snack on redeyes, not a full meal.

As far as I can tell, lunch and dinner are the same and served on all flights leaving after around 10-11am (except redeyes).

Flights leaving before that (e.g. 9am) are breakfast.

Perhaps someone else here might have more precise information...

I believe redeye flights feature a warmed cookie service after takeoff, and a light breakfast (continental style) prior to arrival.

As a first class passenger, you have access to as many snack items as you want. I believe they sell picnic boxes and various chips and sweets in economy class and you can get access to it. No sandwich, wrap or salad will be sold, but there are some filling snack items.

If you want fresh food, just have a meal prior to takeoff!

I've taken the late flight that leaves Boston at 9pm for LAX. Not a redeye since it's going West but also well outside of a normal meal window for dinner at a legacy carrier. It was still a dinner flight with the service the same as you get on the 5pm flight.
