Time for customs and immigration at EWR?
Arriving at EWR from Spain on UA early afternoon in late September 2021. Need to choose connecting flight to Texas. How much time should we allow to get through customs and immigration at EWR? What is recommended minimum connection time at EWR? Will be on same airline (UA). Thanks!

It’s always wise to budget at least two hours to clear customs and immigration at most US airports in my experience. If you fly in premium cabins, it usually helps as you will be at the front of the line for your own plane. But there may be several flights that arrived just before you do so… give yourself some time!
