New York City to Orlando fares
We will be in New York in September and then flying to Orlando for a cruise. Looking at one way flights and the best price seems to be about $140, can I do any better than this? Any help appreciated.

I can see lots of $100 flights on Google Flights (AA and DL). Have you checked all NY area airports?

I like to pay $79 but that's hard to do these days. $140 seems a little high depending on when you want to fly.

While nothing is ever certain, it is unlikely that the cheapest fares will be available this far out. No reason to book more than 90 days out for September travel NYC-MCO. The risk is that fares go up. So you have to balance potential savings against potential increases. All a matter of risk tolerance for OP.

Also make sure you factor in checked bag fees. So might try Southwest Airlines and see how their prices compare. You get two checked bags free.

Thanks everyone for the advice.

I have had 90 dollars fare with Sprint last summer.

As this is a date sensitive subject, and Flyertalk is really not a forum for price guessing, I'll retire the thread.
