I-94 Date Format
Hello
On the latest I94 I was admitted until 08/02/2017 as it says on the electronic form (it was anyway a two day in the beginning of February so no problems if the date was 8th of February) But does that mean 08th of February or 02nd of August? CBP's website did not give any good answers on which format they use. The standard American way is that this is 02nd of August 2017, but since CBP inspects thousands of international travelleres every day they could use the format we use in nearly the rest of the world. |
The validity of the I-94 form is generally for 180 days, so that would make it August 2.

CBP inspects a lot more US than international travelers, so they use the US date method.
