Lavatory Seat Paper Not Provided on U S Airlines?
I just have noticed AA does not offer seat paper on their airplanes. Has this been a standard or i am not just searching the right spot?
I can see it could cause potential clogg issues, but most airlines do offer it without major operational issues.

Don't recall ever encountering seat covers on any AA flight in the past 30 years -- particularly annoying given how utterly filthy one usually finds the lavs on US domestic carriers. Ugh.

Unless you have clean underwear with you to change after taking shower, then you may feel clean and fresh but wearing same underwear will get whatever you were washing off form your body immediately back on to your body.
I think it was either BA or SQ, there was those disinfecting wipe (the type you can buy at the store) in the lav. I do think using disinfecting wipe is far better than to use seat paper.

I don't think paper seat covers would help - just another category of trash to end up on the floor.

Use of what we refer to around the office as @ss gaskets makes no difference. Fecal bacteria is in many places most would folks would never think of and toilet seats are cleaner than such common items as money. Literally, $*** is everywhere!
If the OP wishes to feel cleaner, I would suggest "nesting."

"Nesting" merely requires a bit more paper; one could also use sanitary wipes. When one has to go, one has to go.

Some of us European "metrosexuals" sit down to pee thereby guaranteeing we never have to mop up any turbulently misdirected streams. Never saw the benefit of paper seat covers over wiping the seat before sitting personally - preferably with a disinfected tissue. But then as I don't have open sores on my legs I tend not to worry either way.
